Privacy policy

Through this notice, the FUNDACIÓN EMPRESA UNIVERSIDAD GALLEGA – hereinafter FEUGA – informs USERS of the PLATFORM www.planforlab.es (hereinafter, the PLATFORM) about its personal data protection policy, so that USERS can freely and voluntarily decide whether they wish to provide FEUGA with the personal data that may be required of them or that may be obtained through their registration or subscription to some of the services offered by FEUGA on or through the PLATFORM.

Applicable regulations impose a series of obligations and also establish the rights of individuals regarding the protection of personal data. For the correct understanding and, if applicable, exercise of any rights, it is essential that the USER carefully reads this notice.

FEUGA reserves the right to modify this notice in order to adapt it to legislative or case law developments, as well as to industry practices. In such cases, users will be informed in advance of the changes that will be made to the data protection policy and when they will take full effect.

The only personal data to which FEUGA will have access will be those voluntarily provided by the USER. In this regard, the USER should be aware that personal data will be requested for registration on the PLATFORM. Some of this data is absolutely necessary to access the PLATFORM and enjoy certain services and content. Therefore, in cases where the USER is explicitly informed that certain data is required, failure to provide it will make it impossible to access or use certain services or content.

With regard to the personal data provided by the USER, such data may only be processed automatically and shared in the manner and for the purposes expressly authorized by the USER. Accordingly, such data will be incorporated into a file owned and managed by FEUGA.

The purpose of collecting, processing, and sharing the USER’s personal data with FEUGA is to support all activities related to the PLATFORM, particularly the management, development, administration, provision, updating, personalization, and improvement of the services and content used by the USER, as well as statistical analysis of the services and content used, and of USER preferences and interests.

Additionally, as part of the aforementioned development activities of the PLATFORM, surveys, information, notices, etc. related to Planforlab, its services and contents, and the companies providing them through the PLATFORM may be sent by various means. The submission of such surveys and forms does not imply any obligation or commitment on the part of USERS to respond.

The legal basis for data processing is FEUGA’s legitimate interest (e.g. for sending communications about the foundation’s activities, and the functioning of the WEBSITE and its applications); the execution or subscription of services (and their management, such as payments and billing); and the consent provided for a specific case (which can be withdrawn, thereby halting further processing). USER information may also be used to comply with FEUGA’s legal obligations.

In compliance with applicable law, FEUGA has adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures to maintain the required level of security based on the personal data processed. It also has the resources to prevent, as far as possible, unauthorized access, theft, unlawful alterations, and data loss. However, USERS are informed and warned that these measures are not infallible, and FEUGA cannot be held responsible for such practices.

The USER has the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object to, and transfer their data. These rights may be exercised in writing by sending a letter to: FEUGA, Rúa Lope Gómez de Marzoa s/n (Campus Vida), 15705 Santiago de Compostela, Spain; or via email to: feuga@feuga.es, clearly indicating “Privacy Policy” and attaching a copy of their ID.

Whenever personal data is requested from the USER on the PLATFORM, access to the relevant information in the Privacy Policy will be provided.

Data will be retained for as long as necessary to provide the contracted or subscribed services and, in relation to information about Planforlab’s activities, until the USER requests to stop receiving such information (this can be done by sending an email to feuga@feuga.es).

For specific operations, such as registering for courses, scholarship programs, or other training activities, it will be necessary to provide express consent for the processing of your data by checking the relevant box in the forms displayed or downloaded.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time by sending an email to feuga@feuga.es. You may also file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority (in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency) if you believe your data has been processed inappropriately.
